Charlie's Lunch

Identity for a Christian ministry that feeds thousands of children every month in Mexico, India, El Salvador and Guatemala.

The ministry began in memory of Charlie Stewart, son of Sam and Janey Stewart, American missionaries in Guatemala. Charlie died at age 15 because of a heart defect.

Charlie would often give his lunch to hungry children in Guatemala, and his memory is what began this important work in third world countries. It is a also what inspired the logo.

The handprint on the sack lunch represents Charlies invisible presence, a blessing over each meal if you will. The sunflower is the love and life each nourishing meal brings to every child.
